So you have your Bark Butter - you've spread it on your Bark Butter feeder and the birds absolutely love it. What other ways can you offer it to the birds? Here's some of my favorite ways to enhance my use of Bark Butter.
When your WBU seed cylinders like Supreme Fare or Cranberry Fare get divots pecked in them by the birds, fill them with Bark Butter. I call these treasures and once the birds return to the cylinder, you'll see why!

Take two WBU Stackables (No-Mess, Fruit & Nut, or Nut & Suet) - I like to mix & match. Put first Stackable on the center post of your cylinder feeder. Next, put a THICK layer of Bark Butter (1" works great!) on top of the first Stackable, place second Stackable on post and serve.
My birds go after the Bark Butter first then work on the Stackables. If they clear out all or most of the Bark Butter before the Stackables are gone, I lift the top Stackable and just refill the Bark Butter.
I just "baked" this one up last weekend! Choose one WBU Stackable. Put a nice big layer of icing (Bark Butter) on the Stackable, then serve. If your birds are extra good, you can put sprinkles (seed) on top!
And just like real cupcakes, if the birds eat off the icing first, you can always put on another layer of icing, oops I mean Bark Butter!
See how easy it is to be creative and have fun with Bark Butter? And since Bark Butter has attracted 100 different species of birds, who knows what new species might show up at your Bark Butter creation!
Try these "recipes" with our new Bugberry Blend Bark Butter - it's our regular Bark Butter plus bugs (roasted mealworms) and tons of fruit! What bird can turn that down?
