I'm doing some catch-up on photos taken the last couple months. I have a bunch of images that I can't make a positive ID on and would appreciate the collective wisdom of our readership. Click on any image to enlarge.
If you can help, please use the Comment section and refer to the bird by number. Thanks in advance for the help!
Update 11/12/08: We have overall agreement on birds #6-9, which added 3 birds to my 2008 list. Still working on birds #1-5. Especially interested in confirming bird #4 since there has been a very interesting ID put out there of a Swainson's Thrush, which would be a life bird, yard bird, and 2008 bird for me. Please continue to weigh-in on birds 1-5 with your thoughts. This is fun! Thank you!

This bird exhibited a tail-cocking behavior and with its spotted breast, I think this is a Hermit Thrush. What confuses me is the lack of a reddish tail and overall yellow-ish breast coloration.
Bird #8 - Confirmed as a Hermit Thrush

I know it is a thrush, but is it a Hermit Thrush or a Veery. I thought the spots looked more indistinct like a Veery's. Was perched in a very visible spot in a tree only 10 feet from the house. Not elusive at all!
Thanks all you excellent birders out there!
