With all the redpolls around the last couple days, I've had plenty of opportunity to catch them at my feeders. Today's count was over 100 and the sound and motion they created at my feeding station was just amazing.
I put the camera on my TrekPod (a lightweight combo walking stick/monopod/tripod that I like to use indoors - easy to carry around) and shot away in burst mode.
A better photographer might choose to hit the delete on these images, but I love the motion expressed in them. (I also did a Grosbeaks in Motion post back in early January.)
