I thought it was fun watching this Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly land on some of the smallest and lightest flowers in my yard, delicately balancing himself on the flower head or bending the threadlike stems with his 0.3 gram bulk.

Ellen - thanks much. My hardy geranium is doing well, as are a number of other plants & flowers that I assume are benefitting from all the rain. The tomatoes on the other hand could use some heat!!

Beautiful! There's something about seeing a butterfly that always puts a smile on my face.
Re: your hardy geranium -- mine has grown better this summer than ever before. I have no idea why, since it's been in my garden for years.
